Andrew Melton

Having recently begun creating visual art, Andrew Melton’s style can best be described as exploratory. Relying mostly on acrylics, his techniques include splattering, layered pouring, and sponging. The results are vivid and captivating, often relying on interplay of colors and round forms. Melton’s experiments are taking him into collage and portraits, furthering his range and depth.

“I’m greatly intrigued by all forms of art. I love color and aesthetics and try to join the two in a visually pleasing way. I believe that everything is fair game when it comes to creating art and expressing an idea. I am going to continue to stretch my artistic wings because I cannot imagine a life without artwork.”
